Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of TeachingQuotient, a teaching video analysis platform operated by LITE LAB.
By using TeachingQuotient, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
If you use TeachingQuotient on behalf of a school, company, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
Pilot-Phase Use
TeachingQuotient is currently in pilot phase.
During the pilot:
- Access may be limited to selected users and organizations.
- Features may change.
- Some functions may be incomplete.
- Some workflows may be handled manually.
- The platform may experience bugs, downtime, or processing delays.
- Billing, deletion, export, and consent flows may change before public launch.
TeachingQuotient should not be treated as a final production system during the pilot phase.
Accounts and Access
Users must provide accurate account information and keep their login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must not:
- Share your login credentials.
- Access another user's account.
- Attempt to bypass access controls.
- Misrepresent your identity.
- Use TeachingQuotient without authorization.
LITE LAB may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is misused, compromised, or violates these Terms.
Organization Responsibilities
TeachingQuotient is designed for use by schools, institutions, and organizations.
Organization administrators may be able to:
- Invite users.
- Assign roles.
- Remove users.
- Manage access.
- Manage credits or billing.
- View organization-level activity.
- Control organization settings.
Organizations are responsible for ensuring that their users follow these Terms and comply with applicable laws, policies, and consent requirements.
Video Rights and Permissions
You may only upload, select, or submit videos that you are authorized to process.
You are responsible for obtaining all required permissions before using TeachingQuotient with any video.
This may include permission from:
- Teachers.
- Staff members.
- Students.
- Parents or guardians.
- Schools or institutions.
- Video owners.
- Any person whose privacy or rights may be affected.
You must not submit videos that violate privacy laws, student privacy rules, employment policies, copyright rules, school policies, or any applicable law.
Google Drive Use
TeachingQuotient may allow users to connect Google Drive to select videos for analysis.
By connecting Google Drive, you authorize TeachingQuotient to access selected Google Drive data as described in the Privacy Policy.
TeachingQuotient uses Google Drive access only to provide video selection and analysis features.
TeachingQuotient does not edit, delete, rename, move, or modify files in your Google Drive.
You are responsible for ensuring that any video selected from Google Drive can lawfully be processed through TeachingQuotient.
AI Analysis
TeachingQuotient uses AI-assisted systems to generate teaching feedback and reports.
AI outputs may include summaries, observations, scores, recommendations, and analysis.
AI outputs may contain errors or incomplete interpretations. Users and organizations must review outputs before relying on them.
TeachingQuotient should not be used as the only basis for important decisions about teachers, students, employment, discipline, performance, or academic outcomes.
User Content
You retain ownership of the videos and materials you submit to TeachingQuotient.
By using TeachingQuotient, you allow LITE LAB to process your submitted content as needed to provide the service. This includes storing, analyzing, displaying, and generating reports from the content.
LITE LAB does not claim ownership over your videos.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TeachingQuotient to:
- Break the law.
- Violate privacy rights.
- Upload unauthorized classroom recordings.
- Upload harmful, abusive, illegal, or discriminatory content.
- Infringe copyrights or intellectual property rights.
- Access another organization's data.
- Attack, overload, or disrupt the service.
- Reverse engineer or copy the platform.
- Use the platform for surveillance unrelated to legitimate educational purposes.
- Misrepresent AI-generated analysis as guaranteed or final.
Billing and Credits
TeachingQuotient may include paid plans, subscriptions, or usage credits.
During the pilot phase, billing may be disabled, manually managed, discounted, free, or tested with selected organizations.
If billing is enabled:
- Payments may be processed by Stripe.
- Credits may be used for video analysis.
- Credits may be allocated by organization administrators.
- Pricing may depend on plan, usage, or agreement.
- Subscription terms may be shown at checkout or in the billing area.
Unless stated otherwise, credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred outside the organization.
Refunds and Failed Processing
Refunds and credit adjustments may be handled case by case during the pilot phase.
If a video fails to process because of a platform issue, LITE LAB may choose to:
- Re-run the analysis.
- Restore credits.
- Manually adjust the account.
- Provide another reasonable solution.
Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law or agreed in writing.
Suspension or Termination
LITE LAB may suspend or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms.
- You misuse the platform.
- You upload unauthorized content.
- You create security risk.
- Your organization requests removal.
- Required payment is not made.
- Continued access may harm the platform or other users.
- We are required to do so by law or by a third-party provider.
You may stop using TeachingQuotient at any time.
Privacy
Your use of TeachingQuotient is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how LITE LAB collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information.
By using TeachingQuotient, you agree that LITE LAB may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
TeachingQuotient, including its software, design, branding, interface, workflows, reports, and technology, belongs to LITE LAB or its licensors.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit TeachingQuotient without written permission from LITE LAB.
Feedback
If you give feedback, ideas, suggestions, or bug reports, LITE LAB may use them to improve TeachingQuotient without owing compensation.
Changes to the Service
LITE LAB may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of TeachingQuotient at any time, especially during the pilot phase.
We may also update these Terms as the product evolves.
If changes are material, we may notify users by email, in-app notice, or another reasonable method.
